Hey All! It's looking like an exciting and jam-packed summer of surf action from here... SANS got together a few weeks ago and we're happy to let you all in on our summer programming....
June 3 is World Oceans Day and we will celebrate once again by being a part of the presenters at the @Maritime Museum of the Atlantic's annual event from 10-3. Fun Fact: Our own Justin Huston was the founder of this event and SANS has participated every year since.
Oceans Week HFX is June 3-12- Stay tuned for the complete official schedule. SANS is as always, happy to support this amazing event.
June 12 Is the beach clean up and this year we are partnering with the Lawrencetown Beach Crew to make it even more awesome. Clean-up will be from 10-12 followed by a BBQ, all at Lawrencetown Beach.
Our good friends at SurfAble/ Life Rolls On - Martinique Beach, NS are having a Life Rolls On Fundraiser on June 23. It shouldn't be missed!! See what incredible things these peeps are doing.
The First Nations Surf Camps will be underway with training for instructors happening June 18 in Point Michaud. Message us if you are interested in instructing in any capacity. Be a part of this amazing program- it's full of heart and an amazing amount of community support from an amazing community.
The Summer Longboard Contest will be in July this year so that we can space it out a bit from our fall contest, which we will begin waiting for in September. The two "holding" weekends for the Summer Longboard Contest will be July 16/17 and 23/24.
The SANS AGM will be July 20 at the Cow Bay Hall.
August will be all about YOUTH SURF CAMPS... Details coming soon once we coordinate all of the amazing people who came forward with offers to help out with this.
We will do our very best to bring you an ISA qualifying contest as soon as September hits. Watch for more announcements here.
Message or email email@example.com at any time to be a part of the fun. SANS is here for the surfing community and all are welcome to participate.
Have fun, be stoked :)
Hey guys. So a few months ago i got back from a trip to Nicaragua and the airline broke my board on the way home. I was reimbursed some money and was able to get a new board but I would still like to repair my old one if possible. Here are some photos.. The slots where the fins go are fine but they have pushed into the board itself. Just wondering if shes a wall piece or if she still has life aha. Thanks! ... See MoreSee Less
